"Serving the University in the Spirit of Excellence"
The year 2005 will go down in history as one of significance at Cal State Fullerton
-- for, among other things, being the year that the CSUF Foundation changed its
name to the CSU Fullerton Auxiliary Services Corporation (or ASC as we will soon
come to be known).
Yes -- after bearing the moniker "Foundation" since its inception back in 1959 --
the "multi-purpose Auxiliary Organization" at CSUF underwent a name change in order
to reduce confusion with the "other" foundation on campus -- now called the "Philanthropic
Foundation."
But other than the change in name -- we're the same great people we always were,
continuing to do our best in "serving the university in the spirit of excellence."
Textbooks, computers, gifts or clothing from Titan Shops, a Western Bacon Cheeseburger
from Carl's Jr. (or a favorite selection from any one of our other fine franchise
food operations), or perhaps some assistance with a research grant or contract --
no matter what -- the employees and management of the ASC will constantly strive
to provide the best possible service to the entire campus. And if and when you experience
service that does not stand up to those expectations, I want to hear about it at

Working with the Cal State Fullerton Housing Authority, the ASC also helps campus
employees take that giant step into homeownership at either University Gables or
University Heights as well as continuing to investigate other opportunities as well.
The critical role played by the ASC in helping the university to expand thru the
acquisition of College Park and expansion to the new Irvine Campus Center cannot
be overlooked as well.
Yes, the CSU Fullerton Auxiliary Services Corporation is many things to many people
-- but most of all we're here to serve. We thank you for allowing us that opportunity
